Lying along the banks of the Crocodile River, the garden boasts a variety of vegetation types, including typical Lowveld bush, march, gallery forest and plants associated with rocky slopes. Some 500 plant species grow here, including many trees. To date 245 bird species have been recorded, and a number of reptile and small mammal species occur. Location: North-eastern Mpumalanga; Nelspruit. Access: Clearly signposted from Nelspruit town centre. Accommodation: None. There are hotels and a camping site in Nelspruit.
